Group Concept: Ex-Noble Argen Trading Family. Think of a sort of Gypsy-Mafia mix led by an ancient matriarch who pre-dates the fall. The original group was a hand picked mixture of individuals sent to prepare the way for the Shard caravans to return to the old lands, though various internal family politics is likely to result in a new wave of Shard arriving soon.
We started at event one, and so have got good established links to the other groups.
We're looking for Argen who want to play in a matriarchal family group with an interests in trade and history. Only skill restriction is that you should have either survival or an artisan type skill to fit into the concept. I've got basic background that I can pass to people with some interest, and a more detailed culture guide for anyone who wants to join.

Group Name: The Brood (translation, The Family)
Race & Culture: Mostly: Orogan, Urgat, Venin. Some: Aivelle. Any race is welcome to try and join us.
Group current numbers: 22 in total but we normally have a turn out of about 10-15 at events.

Group Concept: We are mostly made up of Orcs but we have a few non Orcus in the group. We are very tribal in nature, and are lead by a council of Elders. We have a ranked structure to the group and aim to implement more Role-Play based around folks gaining rank. We also have different area's of specialty for folks to join as well, an example of this is our Diplomancers (folks who do all the talking for us, they tend to be the ones with brains). or our Shamans (Spell casters), and more.
Some are not like the standard Orcus though, as we have formed the Brood to get away from the old World and show the rest of the races we are not all dumb Brutes (though there are some in the Brood who like to play this role). So if you like the idea of the Brood and wish to try and join us, feel free to contact me for more info.

In response to Martin's add above, we are also looking for people to play Raggard who are older, wiser and like drinking and singing (as well as fighting).
So if you want to be a younger Raggard or retainer then get in touch with Martin, if you want a bit more in the way of playing a Grumpy Old Raggard then please get in touch with myself (GOR's get to drink more and heckle Waldorf and Stadler style )
