| well I was joking around really, but It seems mostly irrelevant at present anyway. although being a berserker in a political game was a bit meh... and really, telling people to go to another system isn't the best marketing move you could make you know

| I am struggling to see where I suggested people should go to another event. I would suggest that, however, if people wanted a monster bash that vikings wasnt for them. Reading the pre event blurb, it makes it abundantly clear that the game is focussed around politics and the consequences of such. I guess it would be like turning up to a game titled 'The Elven court of kings' and billed as high politics as a guy with combat skills and no interest IC in politics, then complaining that there wasn't enough fighting.

| I took this "Saying you want pure combat, there are droves of stock fantasy systems that can provide for that" the wrong way Vikings IS political, but if you are a viking warrior, you do want a bit of a scrap! and it's not like the viking folk were shy about having a good dust up!

And if you turn up as a "non" combatant you just get slotted by the fighters because they fancy stealing your pretty necklace.... That'll teach me to be able to talk rings around them without having the arsenal to back it up!
Nah I'm not bitter ;-)
The good news about it being postponed is that I get to come along when you do run it.
I'd offer to help but the commute to Manchester would be a bit mad.
