Armchair Armoury make. It's the "Welded Back and Breast Plates" from this page:

http://www.armchair-armoury.co.uk/plate.htm

Note that this is the breast & backplate, NOT the shoulder pauldrons & tassets which are on the same picture.

New cost is £100 -- I will sell this one for £65 ONO.

It's the Medium size. Should fit most people OK unless you're quite big.

Mine has a bit of rust on -- this is only on the surface, so you could remove it with wire wool & elbow grease. Alternatively, I kinda think it adds character -- it's not serious rust that will actually eat away at the whole thing. You could coat it with a rustproof paint or Guinness (both more-or-less authentic period approaches to rust). Otherwise it's in good nick -- armour doesn't tend to get too knackered despite years of use...

Mine has a small leather strap & buckle added to the front centre, by me, so that you can attach a bevor to the breastplate to protect your chin & throat. I'm not selling the bevor just yet (though I probably will do soon-ish, & will offer it to the buyer of the breastplate first if they want it). Obviously you can wear the breastplate without the bevor...

Can deliver to Artificer, Serenity, or Maelstrom.

If there's a definite buyer, I don't mind waiting for payment till delivery, whenever that is (even if it's Easter Maelstrom).

No, £60 will do fine -- I'd already dropped the price to that anyway. I'll bring it to the Easter Maelstrom, so you can get a good look at it before you buy.

I'm looking for a cuirass suitable for or can be made suitable for siege armour for an Engineer of the French Guard c. 1810. Plain steel cuirass with leather shoulder straps and waist buckle, brass rivets. Ive an illustration somewhere and the regulation drawings. The helmet that goes with it is a bit of a bugger, however.
