I've not seen it advertised except for one or two of the eBay companies that import metal armour from India.

There are lots of people over here who make armour though (mostly leather) and I'm sure almost all of them would be happy to do whatever size and design you want.

Yeah a lot depends what you want -- like Thomas said you can get kids' mail armour from eBay, but IMO it's a bit heavy for most kids to want to wear.

Leather's a good option but is going to be pricey unless you make it yourself.

Norton Armouries used to do some awesomely beautiful kids' size plate armour, very high-tech & lightweight like all their kit, but again like all their kit looking almost perfectly like genuine medieval steel armour. I was speaking to the new owner of Norton a couple of weeks back & he said they still have the moulds & are planning to put it back on the market. Drop them an email and ask, I'm sure they'll be able to sort something out. It won't be cheap I don't think, but the advantages (light weight, high armour value in most game systems, extreme durability & easy resale once the owner grows out of it) are so strong that it's probably worth getting.
