Based on Steve's Ophidian Masks thread, I felt it could be very useful to have in one place a resource list of where you can purchase masks to play non-humans from...

Please post up the following sort of data: website (or address), cost, race etc..

Please don't clog up this thread with comments or it will quickly become useless....

PD Head Ref- but as all posts here count as being unofficial, you'll need to email rules@PD for the real deal.

And in those oh so rare moments of going IC: Detric of the Bespoke Atelier (and your host for the erotic performance show) whilst my gnoll is on an extended leave of absence in deference to my ex-wife...

I found a nice site the other day, its a US based one, but the range of masks it has is pretty impressive, lots of dog and cat like masks, lots of undead style masks, and a few very nice looking reptilian like ones too :

http://www.halloweendirect.com

click on costume and stage then foam latex prosthetics, masks and ears

Morbid masks have changed their website, they're now under

http://www.monster-boutique.com/

However, while they still have the prosthetics, make-up and cool rubber creatures, their mask selection appears to be mainly demonic and undead these days and a lot less ones applicable to maelstrom than they used to.

No, you probably don't remember my character from the events I've been to.

He makes bespoke masks to request, and i know is in particular interested in making some dryad/facet/eidelon masks.

Fatkraken does latex masks, fur heads and full on fur suits. She did the Raid Hive masks and a lot of the Teca tribe ones:

An Azarch

And some awesome cat masks;

Also fursuits, though probably not too suitable for muddy fields. Furred heads are potentially available. PM for details, more expensive than the latex ones for obvious reasons.

Latex masks are about £20, painted to order. Ophidian, azarch, tlaxti (Raid Hive) and wemic masks currently available, as well as some mokosh prosthetics; dryad, facet and avian probably turning up before next year. PM or email (rohare at hotmail dot com) for orders/requests/info.

(updated)

Current Character: Thenakala Jinx of the Wayward Scholars
Previous Characters: Tseleth of Raid Hive, Lady Clara D'Angeline of Mill-en, Mila aka 'Cake Lady' (for approx. 4 hours)

I'd also suggest Toddy (aka, the guy who runs the player makeup tent) for Prosthetic.

He has a good selections and are reasonably priced.

Does anybody have any contact details for him?

Yeah, Toddy's prosthetics are ace and he's very helpful when it comes to teaching people how to attach them, store them, etc.

I'm trying to look at the photos for the Fatkraken stuff but the links keep taking me to the photobucket homepage.  Do you need an account there in order to look at other people's albums?
