The Pale Queen is a pretty common forum handle for me, but if people would rather call me Claire, or Red, they're welcome to. I just don't think that many people on here know me by my RL name is all.

"theshoveller" is a nickname acquired from a tabletop roleplaying session when I was a first year undergrad. It has nothing to do with Mystery Men. My real name is as common as muck, I know of at least three people with the same or very similar name. I feel like "shoveller" has, if anything, more of my identity in it.

I've generally always used "Helly" since it's what everyone calls me, and I'm not very imagineative.
In fact, I can only think of one forum where I use a pseudonym to hide who I am, and that's a stupid anime forum I only go on to troll.

My Handle on line is the first nickname i got from the one over ten years ago. I had a character name I really did. My real name I use it more freely now im married (i have past issues using my maiden) Ive always called myself shaz as well Sharon is common and muck and i was shaz my friend (at primary school) was sharon.
So yes i would now use my real name. But no i was more wary in the past.

I've been called Grim by most folks since I was in high school and its just like my real name (Only my family really call me Will) Some people don't even know what my real name is and I have known them for nearly 20 years, so I don't feel that I hide behind it, just that its "me".
There is no way you can disprove to me that all reality we percieve, was concieved in the mind of a plastic troll. Now hand me my pills.

I use a pseudonym because it's more unique than my RL name, and because I can use my pseudonym in many internet forums where my real name may be taken, it's also more recognisable. My friends often call me by this name or derivatives IRL too.
