I am making a Tudor English Gown - which is a simply long gown open at the front and fastened at the waist, worn over a contrasting colour kirtle.
The pattern for most of it is easy enough, but it has a high neckline / integral collar and I cant work out how to do that. A separate collar is easy enough, but this is a continuation of the main body of it.
The book unfortunately doesnt give a separate pattern for this dress, and I cant work it out from the the illustrations.
Any of the seamstresses or tailors out there have any ideas? Later on I'll scan in the illustrations I have to see if that triggers any ideas.

| Sarah here D'oh. The pattern is two pages later. The moral is to proprely check the book - it appears two pages were slightly stuck together!
