Hi there is a new larp starting around the wrexham to chester area, the playtests have been run and the first official event will be on the 22nd of Febuary. Its a two and half day event and will cost £15 (in door accomidation included).

The age ristriction is 16+ but contact us anyway if you are interested and would like to know more.

The LARP carries a heavy roman and greek theme and takes the form of a living breathing nomadic society complete with tents towers etc. Read the website for more info.

The addy is: www.wildernessfarm.co.uk/Refuge

All explained in detail up there, hope to see you soon.

Looks fun.

Any chance of putting the rules in RTF format (should be trivially achievable in any word processor software, just click "Save As" and select "RTF") for those of us who don't have Word 2007?

Riftworld: Rossar Kuug ("Clearly mad, because he thinks he's a Com-Trow Skirmisher" - Aela)
Hyborian Tales: Crew, cook, dogsbody, general labourer, toilet cleaner ("Dangerously overoptimistic ref" -- Tom Nowell)
Otherwise usually crew ("Quite spry & fit, & willing to wear a big costume & run around a lot" -- various event organisers)

Good idea RTF would work better,

Was hoping to convert the rules to pdf, the rules currently on the website are from the playtest so have changed quite a bit anyway. The new rules will be up by this weekend in full though.

Cool, thanks!

I might well come along to that first event, as it's only just down the road from me.

What kind of numbers are you hoping for? It's quite hard to tell from the website.

Hi, I'll definitely be there and happy to pay the £15, but your website said that the event on the 22nd was a test play and free- on which basis I've encouraged some of the local younger players along- do you need crew-in case they can't afford it.

Yeah sorry about that, it isnt a play test as that was done a few months back. Havent had much time to monitor the website properly untill recently so will get that changed. Website will be updated tonight with the relervant event information.

Not sure about monster crew though I am considering it, more info will be on the website over the coming weeks.
