We finally did it. Those of you who were there -  it would be nice to get some feedback.

The premise was to try out some new ideas and to use the best from games we had experienced to raise the levels of expectation from high quality roleplaying events.

e.g. five players fifty crew.

We ended up with 6 players and 80 crew so there should be plenty out there with opinions.

The object is, of course, to inspire others to run these kind of games so we can play.

I really enjoyed the game and having the oppertunity to spend so much time just making sure the players were taken care of was brilliant both in and out of character. I'd love to have seen them on horse back and cannot wait to see the photos.

I really appreciated the refs being so flexible in allowing NPC's such autonomy and letting the many story lines to evolve as each step went towards andeeper emotional event and more heroic tale.

I hope to write up my version of Ninian's tale but it wont be until at least the end of the week now.

I played and it was a privilage

I have a 'fair bit' of experience in lrp and this was beyond immersion - I am still trying to sort the events and brutal combats into sequence in my mind.

The worst thing was the 'time out' on sunday afternoon....  you mean we arent going by boat to Ireland...  sheesh.

Pod & Nathan - awesome.  Crewed excellently. Food great.

Not quite none of us. Dave and Linda were there. I don't know if Dave reads Rule 7 but he's phoned me twice since he got back, raving about how great it was. All excited he was, bless him

But yes, photos please!

So this was what it was all about. Have to admit I was intrigued by the bits about it on the Dumnonni forum and people whispering furtively at Dumnonni events.

I was another "gutted not to make it" -- I was on holiday in (real world) Ireland. In fact I think I was probably on the boat back again on Sunday just about when you lot timed out...
