I will post here, not sure if it is the right place but maybe you guys can help.
Looking for some really oriental looking weapons, ideally a 9 ring broadsword, and trying to stay away from the katana, wakasashi, no-dachi and diashio styles.
any ideas, ever see one on a crafter stall?

Yes that would be the kinda thing, and moving rings would be ace
Andy, sorry for my ignorance, do you work for a lrp weapon company, or might I have seen you weapons at a fair? or do you have a link to any of your weapons, so as you are probably aware there is an awful lot of difference in the market of LRP weapons.

| Made weapons/armour and props commercially for about 7 years for LRP - I'm head of props for the LT and do a lot of the props and monsters for Hyborean tales-others inc' Dreamworks (Felix Legion armour for Gladiator) English Touring Opera, Hallmark TV, and a number of shops including GW (full space marine for games day and props for WH world. Now only make to order, you could probably get references from someone on rule 7, tend towards realistic/historical copies. If your at RThe Gathering this year I'll be selling a few bits and pieces or you can check out my personal kit if I've sold everything (which is likely)

| I own one of Andy's broadswords. It's the most amazing LARP weapon I've ever owned. That includes my custom weighted Katana from 'Kincheap.

| http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ian.bland1/LARP-INDEX_files/Page3306.htm - be like this then? Made this earlier in the year, not too difficult and could be altered to include the "rings" although not exactly sure how that would work out. Mail me if you are interested Hell, it might even have been you I made it for!
