| Thunderbucket mentioned the plot of Waterworld deescribed in Waypoint terms as 'Lone Oonym vs Avar scavanger gang'. Given that there is a lot of plaguarism in the universe, are there any more situations where you can describe the plot of an event or situations characters get into in terms of an existing film? If I can think of any I will post them later...

| Mad Max Trilogy!! A lone Avari Tribesman fighting for supplies. Starship Troopers: Cybel Training video 'nuff said, (By the way, reading the book is equally satisfying, and the Starship Troopers Chronicles rocks!) Running Man: We (the Cybel) have to do something with our Crims right? (Climbing for Dollars!!) Bladerunner: Wow, needs absolutely no alteration. Mystery Men: A group of Avari Psionics learn to use their powers together and defeat a nutcase with access to some pre-sundering tech. Aeon Flux: Watched it recently, not bad. Althari Computer God decides in its insanity to have a game with itself. Setting one of its best agents against the system. Inspector Gadget: A Cybel Police Officer is seriousl injured in the line of duty and cybered up to defeat a big bad guy. RoboCop: See Inspector Gadget, only set on Avar. Will do some more later.
What's the point of living if you can't dissapoint your mother? 'Those passengers on the right hand side of the craft should get a good veiw of the mountains and those on the left should just be able to make out the large shuttle full of terrified people pointing at you and screaming "get the f**k out of the way".' Sergovian's last posting with Logistics went badly.

| Cube - The Althari computer teleports a random selection of people into the Dyson Sphere and subjects them to extreme psychological testing and unsufferably difficult logic puzzles all in the name of science... Cube II - The computer does it again in exactly the same way but with a bigger budget, more special effects and less tension Brotherhood of the Wolf - A Cybel academic and his Dagdan sidekick hunt for the alien creature threatening an isolated colony world Dog Soldiers - A Cybel special ops unit on maneuvers on Bowker end up falling foul of a family of Jhaerag. X-Men - Papa Peevo, crippled in an accident, shaves all his hair off and organises his group of mutants and psychics (the Tech Tramps) into an efficient crime fighting force to fight the Brotherhood of Evil mutants (called the Fit) led by the mysterious hooded figure, Nameless. Casualty/Scrubs/St Elsewhere/ER et al - Ilana, Dr Dakarian, Dr Solon, Malia Anto, Hardy Reel, Sgt Tolstov and a host of other characters related to medicine are a mismatched team of medics at a hospital having to deal with day to day traumas both of the body and the heart... Could probably call it 'Newgate Medical Centre' or something

I wouldn't expect many of the patients to survive and I'd certainly expect most of those that do to come out with either far fewer organs than they started with or a selection of new and interesting ones.
