Greetings all,

Please read the following carefully if you are looking at attending the upcoming event. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Player Booking

Thanks to everyone who has booked so far, I will endeavour to make sure everyone is contacted with confirmation as soon as possible.

Remeber if you have crewed a previous event you are entitled to a £5 discount off the booking price.

Crew Booking

Can everybody wishing to crew please post a standard booking form with 'Event Crew' written in the 'Character name' box or e-mail me at jonathan.townshend@gmail.com with their name, address, any medical conditions and confirmation that they agree to abide by our safety and rules guidelines.

There are a number of bunks available for crew to sleep in, these will be a assigned on a first come, first served basis.
These bunks are in a seperate building to the main crew hut.

Player Information

As per usual the event is self catered, players will have access to two full kitchens including microwave and fridge facilities. However please note that the campsite makes no provision of cooking and eating equipment so ensure you bring along any pots, pans, bowls, cups and cutlery you will require.

Players will have access to two buildings during the event, one will be designated for social use and the other as an indoor space for people to lay mats and sleeping bags of an evening. Each building has a limited number of actual bunks in side rooms, if you require the use of these due to medical reasons please notify us in your booking forms so that we can ensure a bunk is reserved for you.
Both buildings will be fully in-character for the duration of the event.

Plenty of camping space will be available for those wishing to pitch tents.

We will endeavour to provide entertainment on the Saturday night as it happens to be several players birthdays over the weekend. Please bear in mind those performing or DJ'ing may not be larpers and not used to a drunken forntier worlder waving a six shooter in their face demanding 'Freebird' regardless of how well we explain things too them beforehand.

Crew Information

As per usual the event is self catered, crew will have access to one full kitchen including microwave and fridge facilities. However please note that the campsite makes no provision of cooking and eating equipment so ensure you bring along any pots, pans, bowls, cups and cutlery you will require.

We will provide sugary snacks.

The main crew room is seperate from the crew sleeping area, however it is the same building as the kitchen and we expect it to get very crowded and busy at certain times. Please endeavour to aid us in keeping the area organised and tidy, there is after all, a first time for everything.

Crew are expected to be awesome at all times. If you have any form of problem please approach an event organiser as soon as possible, whilst we may be busy and tired it is of far more importance to us that your needs are addressed to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.

Crew roles are likely to encompass a wide array, from long term speaking parts to short and sharp 'third bandit on right' and the ways in which these parts evolve can be extremely interesting. If you have a preference for or against either please let us know so that we can ensure you are undertaking roles you feel confident with, but don't be afraid to try new things.

Please remember we expect crew members to consider the spirit of the game and the enjoyment of the players before the letter of the rules and the motivation of the NPC.

There will be opportunity for crew to enjoy the Saturday night entertainment, players reading this shouldn't assume that means Saturday night will mean a lull in plot.
