Fantasy Battle EnactmentWARGATE #1
LARP with an emphasis on ACTION! With Fantasy Battle Enactment our aim is to minimize In-Character role-playing and create the large-scale battles that are so often the part of a LARP campaign that are written into plots without physically taking place. With a simple combat system and little, if any, magic we bring to LARP what Historical Re-enactment has had all along - mass combat between opposing forces. Taking place over a weekend Wargate will feature large-scale battles as well as individual and team tournaments and other competitions to be advised. Combat rules will be standardised and take into account armour. Full rules will be posted when finalised. In order for us to plan a suitable site etc we would ask that you register an interest. REGISTER INTERESTRegistering interest is not a commitment on your part - just gives us an idea of possible numbers. Currently finalising combat rules etc but need a vague idea of numbers in order to arrange location etc.Grateful for registered interest and queries. Thanks Mike

| You see whether im interested or not would depend on a) The system b) the site c) likely attendance. As youve provided none of this I dont know If im interested or not. Am I interested in a large scale combat event potentially? Yes. (I too cannot make your link work so I replying here... hope is OK)
