| I actually managed to find some of the good old solvent rich Evostick in a local B&Q last week. They looked at me like some sort of criminal when I asked for it at the till - anyone would have thought I was buying hard drugs! Let alone the fact they had to ask a supervisor to unlock the combination safe it was kept locked in - but it does the job so much better than the environmentally friendly rubbish.

Then your realise what you feared is true,
There are killers, and they are inside your house...

| where the hell do you guys live?! I've never had any problems at all buying glue over the counter anywhere. THough I would suggest phoning them isn't the best plan. just go there and find it yourself...

You will normally find that the staff at b&q don't know what they have in store, just try asking for isoflex They always insisted to me that they stocked no such thing until I dragged them to the roofing section and pointed it out.
Anyway, evostik....they keep it in a sfe at the till as mentioned. You can either go to the glue section where they have small leaflets showing what they have in stock, and take one to the till, or just ask at the till. Last time I got some though, they still didn't understand what I wanted so I had to get them to pull stuff out of the safe at random until they pulled out what I was after.
I get my foam from arco. www.arco.co.uk But only cos there is a store local to me.

I used to get foam from a local shop in Brighton but he limited range (only 9mm foam) made making good looking weapons harder, after shopping round on-line I found Skian Mhor was the easist and was a good price, plus you can get latex and core materials at the same time on the same P&P.
However I do have one question, why is Copydex glue not used for foam? as a contact adhesive I find it's bond is often stronger than the foam on the few occasions I've had to strip foam off a mid constructed weapon.

| I think people usually paint latex on with a brush. Especially for shields!
