*gets paranoid* Checks letter/report she wrote. Nope can't possibly be mine.. nothing funny in there.  *relaxes* The letter/report you wrote doesn't have to be funny for it to make refs laugh. All it has to do is contain something that amuses them and, with the twisted minds of refs, it is not always clear what might amuse them. It can amuse them that someone has got something absolutely, but unexpectedly, 'right', or that they got something utterly wrong which will lead to disasterous consequences, or even - and this is always a favourite - managed to get something right which will lead to disasterous consequences. Heck, even a comical typo might amuse a ref for a while. So, just because you think it isn't you, that doesn't mean that it isn't, or that you won't get subsequently blamed anyway. I hope that's reassuring for you.

An unusually high percentage of you have sent in OA...damn.
I am indeed in the process of replying so no: I have not forgotten you all.
I expect to send the replies at the towards the latter half of August, so that you can't all spend a long time mulling over how to send me another batch of huge OAs.... I'm sure I mentioned the single A4 page thing
....pant....sucker for punishment...gasp....
We have so loved the IC stuff though, so it's all been worth it once more.

Nor do references, pictures, figures, tables or titles. 
(I think miraculously mine might actually have been a page total.. I think..)
