I was chatting to Niel the other day and we both agreed that the level of in game swearing has diminished a lot. Is this just because Lyria, Klaus and Crowe were all foul mouthed psychos?

Or are you new lot all too polite?

Or could it be that now the players are no longer outnumbered by the monster crew there is less to swear about?

I rather hope not

Nah, its just that BSG came up with a really satisfying not-quite-swear.
I was saying "Frak!" a lot at the last one and it makes a fine alternative to actually swearing.

Swearwords, along with phrases such as "gribbly $#!£", don't meet my character's criteria for "appropriate terminology" - but then he's not a foul-mouthed psycho (yet).

Neven only swears because he spent a lot of time with baitmen... Dr Brown was a polite, well brought up Defender from a good home not the scummy Baitman that Neven was

Poor Dr Brown, there he was all innocently amnesiac, and he fell in with a bad crowd consisting a slutty foul mouthed baitman and a grumpy foul mouthed skukier, which several years later expanded to incorporate a psycho foul mouthed Xadacian, and a warphound who could say 20 words, 15 of which were obscenities. And all before he got his memory back. No wonder he's a bit screwed up.

I still feel we should've gone with my plan and made a pre-emptive strike on the monster room.

Take the battle to the enemy!!!

Enemy? In the crew room?

Who said that?
