The day is offering a great value for money day of LaserTag based LRP, with a great game line up, comprising of two main games, one presented by Adam Bethall and the other Jim Barclay.

Morning Game:

"DeadtoRights"

Grab what few belongings you can and make your way to the cities, there you'll be safe. That's what they said...

This is the first game in a themed series presented by Adam Bethall from Full TILT and will be a good mix of LRP and live combat.

More details to follow later in the month.

Afternoon Game:

"Festering Pestulance!"

This is Jim Barclay's Resident Evil based game that was due to run on Sunday Evening of DropZone 2007.

Game Overview

The game is set in Scotland, somewhere between the two Resident Evil films.

Umbrella have done a very good job at covering up what happened at Racoon City Hive Complex.

There is currently no common knowledge of the T-Virus amongst the general public and the player teams.

Please note, this game will be run using limited ammo rules. Everyone will be carrying 2 magazines at the start of the game.

Further ammo may be available during game play.

Umbrella Security & Tactical Team Patches/Badges can be purchased via eBay very easily and relatively cheap.

What time are you expecting to finish?  Do I need my own lazer weapons and what conventions would you make a new player aware of.  Also happy that you're playing somewhere where I can get to.

There is only overconfidence and terror.

Hi Coffmeister.

Usually the festivities finish between 5 and 6pm, when we ajourn to the local pub for a froth. We can sort out sensors and appropriate firearms for you. There may be a small hire charge but I'm not sure what it is at the moment - Weresloth might know...

Is there any tea on this spaceship?

No theres no charge to borrow lazertag kit we just ask that we know in advance if you need it so we can ensure there is enough. Its top stuff too not someones old tat! New faces are always welcome (part of the reason for starting one day games was to try to gain some new blood).

Guys,
Just another reminder that the next One Dayer at Wickham is only 1 month away now, so if you haven’t already let Steve know that you are planning to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing stevetrent@avaya.com. As the day has 2 themed games, I am keen to give the games organisers a rough idea of numbers so that they can plan the games accordingly.

Details from Adam Bethall (GM of the Morning game on 28/07/07 One Day Event):

The morning Zombie game is a survival horror game with two player parties, survivors and zombies.

I would prefer non combats, and I will be picking the player groups on the day, roughly 60/40 in favour of the zombies. The Survivalist party will be a mixture of one or two long time taggers and most of the newcomers.

If any one has any Latex, house hold weapons please bring them, all will become apparent.

The rest I will save for the day……
