Mr Coffmeister - Yup, those nice chaps at Combat South Airsoft kindly allow us to hire their Whickham (Woodland) and Fort Widley (Urban/Tunnels) sites, both in Hampshire near Portsmouth. Fort Widley tends to get used for Call Of Cthulhu and 'Aliens' games (Weresloth is the chappie to talk about those). Two groups, 'Full Tilt' and 'Fiat Lux' run one day events at the Whickham site at the end of each month. The day games tend to be more casual affairs, costing roughly 5-10 pounds depending on how many people turn up. Often they're used to try out new ideas, or for people to turn up with a four hour scenario, and we can always scare up spare sensors and kit. We also use a site near Basingstoke, Hampshire once in a while. The next 'one-dayer' is July 28th at Whickham, which appears to now have an 'undeady' theme, with a continuing Resident Evil scenario in the morning, and the start of a hopefully ongoing zombie apocalypse game in the afternoon. Mr Shelford - (You can't argue with someone who has Mr Mckay as his avatar....). Good to hear from you dude. I crewed some AVP games some time back, so I probably met you from inside a pred helmet.

I guess I ought to try to do some more 'trad' roleplaying just to get a more balanced view of things and some fresh insights. I'm pretty guilty of bitching about other systems but I ought to give them a try and then make an informed decision. I'm going to be crewing the next Nexus event to see what that's like. Should be good.
