| Well firstly thanks for all the feedback on the Iron Eagle thread. It has caused much debate amongst us the organisers and thus we make the following statement. The Axis game will no longer be centered around a Waffen SS infantry unit. It will now be a Falshirmjaeger (Paratroopers) unit of the Heer (General Army). This means that we can keep the game very similiar to the original idea, but hopefully allay any of the polical correctness issues that were brought up. The rules will be rewritten to signify this change and we hope that many of you who were put off the game will now change your minds and give it and us a go. www.gunmanairsoft.co.uk and follow the Iron Eagle link on the front page. | I think you've probably made the right decision there dude. I'd definitely be interested if I wasn't doing a WW2 Brit re-enactment event that weekend already. Good luck with it matey. I know this is ultra sad, but the Fallschirmjager were part of the Luftwaffe, not the army, so it's blue hats all round. I'll get me anorak...
