Nevermind all that, where are they selling off all the roller coasters? I fancy me some Rule7 rolling stock!

I suspect the budget for the next Serenity may well be blown here. However they have several 'pirate chests' and my favourite 'corpe in coffin' so lots of larp potential there.
Shame I'm elsewhere that day, darnit.

Aye there is alot of cowboy kit on the list. So it would be a wise move for any Serenity LRPers out there to get along.

| Do you know, I hadn't thought of that. Of course, the boys and girls from Serenity LRP would be looking for some of the cowboy kit. I'll be there bidding on some of the costume as well as a couple of other things on behalf of my workplace (Loughborough University English and Drama dept.) We don't have much money, but are looking to at least get some stuff. I don't hold out too much hope for the cowboy and saloon girl costumes, they'll be snapped up by either costume shop representatives or most likely there'll be a lot of the linedancing/C&W/quickdraw re-creationists in the crowd. There is a lot of buzz on other forums about this. (Not that I do the whole country and western thing, that's more my parents bag.)

| So did any of you go to the auction? I did see a few people that may have been Lrpers, but seeing as they were all competition, I didn't want to tip my hand too early as to what I was there for. Oh and the signs were rubbish. I was amazed that people were bidding on them for any other reason than either theme park memerobilia (may be worth slightly more after twenty years in their garden shed, the antiques roadshow effect) or to sand down and re-paint as something else (and the amounts that some of these things were going for, you could get it made new and painted for you for less)
