Doubt i'll be able to drag many of my local LT buddies along as most only manage the odd LT event, so im looking to group up with any budding Urgat orcs out there. Dont spose many of you guys know me, but id like to think im friendly, up for a laugh, and in this case for Eos want to be really EVIL

I know some of the people who played Urgat in the movie will be coming to the evnt as well. DOnt know how many or in what configuration etc, but they could be a good foundation for a new group. Dont know if they read the forums etc, but Allen will know, over to you...

| Haven't spoken to Colin about it, have rung him a couple of times. Gav I'll chat to at the next Maelstrom. However, Grim has said he's playing Urgat (he's the rules guide artist), he's bound to be there, drop him a PM Godfrey, that'd be a start.

Ian Sturrock (5/2/2007)
Definitely up for playing something Orcish from Event II onwards. Providing im still alive and part of a group would be good to get more people in on it. As Allen said somewhere else, "be clever, bring friends". Something tells me that numbers/alliances are gona play a large part in staying alive in this game.

Allen Stroud (4/30/2007) Moral of the story is, bring friends, and be clever. Hmmm... so, this probably all seems ultra obvious, but if you're not bringing a big group of people then you shouldn't go? :-/ That seems unlikely, so could you spell out what we should be doing about that? Recruiting amongst real life friends works well, but are you going to start a thread for people who want to get groups together? I am going as a single Argen, or so it seems at the moment, but that is part of the background. However I will have to network will most groups as part of my trading etc. Dont know how far that will get me with the behind the scenes intros. I was thinking of coming into Archway with a group of people as that is part of the job. So if you or other people feel they need some back up, we could do a tempory allience for the first event. Gav is goind to Tailand in october so cant some.(AFAIK)

A few of us from Birmingham and surrounds are planning a mixed tribe of the various kinds of orc (based on the references in the intro story and the Orogan write-up about such tribes) if people want to link up...

| well id been talking to Grim about ideas and such, but it did occur to me while we were dicussing things that Allen had said he intends several IC camps at the event. So is it likely (hopefully Allen will see this and can answer it) that pretty much all the orcs are going to find themselves ooc in the 'orc' camp on friday night? I can see that probably we could end up banding together as a large tribe or prehaps a couple of tribes if this is the case. so far myself and grim are planning on heading down as Urgat Orcs, so would be an idea to link up, but would be interesting to see what Allen says about the above first as it may be half planned that way anyways.

| I'll answer this a little bit carefully. The camp's prevalent identities will be dependent on the majority of the players who book - i.e. We won't be setting up a Gumallan camp if no Gumallan players arrive. The sourcebooks explain the relationships between each species and race in more depth. I don't want to reveal things that are supposed to be only for certain players to know as this might spoil the "reveal" at time in. I am happy to answer some specific questions off forum for individual players who have made a choice as things stand on the proviso that the information remains need to know. However, going by the level of interest in all types of Orckus thus far, I doubt very much anyone will be alone.
