I don't think I would break the law for a political reason, but I would quite cheerily break it for a personal reason / a religious reason if the law attempted to prevent me from doing what was right.
I also don't think I would take part violently in a violent revolution (although I could probably see my way to working in a support role), mostly because I don't trust myself to use violence correctly - I think I would enjoy it too much.
