If you're looking for some somewhat unusual entertainment theres a Canadian puppeteer called Ronnie Burket who's doing his new show in London and Manchester in April and May

I know you might be thinking that it really isn't your thing, but I cannot stress just how amazing his shows are. I saw the last one (Provenance) and was almost in tears, and had I not been there with other people then probably would've been. He had the entire of the Theatre Royal in Brighton in a standing ovation for about 5 minutes

The man is a genius. Not only does he really bring his marionettes to life with quite unnerving accuracy, but he also writes the "plays", performs them solo (Provenance was 2 hours with no interval at breakneck speed), makes the marionettes and designs and makes the sets himself

It really is very, very good. No seriously it is

The London shows are from the 18th April - 5th May and Manchester is 11th - 19th May

Details for the London shows are at

Like the guy in "Being John Malkovich"? Kids need to know about Abelard and Eloise.
