Come to www.makai-larp.co.uk for your larp-weapon needs.  We generally specialise in designs and styles from the 16th-17th century, but do branch out into custom and other work.

Just recently a commission for a Zat Gun from Stargate!  Customer is a happy bunny and the pictures will be up shortly.

If there is anything you'd like to ask / say / moan about / shout at us after looking at the website - post here and i'll be happy to respond.

Happy Larping!

My apologies - we currently have no way of telling people "the site is down for an evening of update" so if you looked last night (and you probably did i'm afraid) then you found a lot of "white X's"  - please fell free to look now - We regularly run updates, however the ISP isn't the best at keeping the connection open while We send the couple of hundred small files across.

Normal Service has resumed - feel free to look around

Nice looking stuff... one thing though, not all the hyperlinks (especially ones where the clicky bit is a graphic) appear to have the full URL for the page they're linking to so all that comes up is a blank page (presumably because it's looking for the page on my own harddrive rather than on your server).

Thanks for that - i'll take a closer look.  The website only went live this month so it's been a bit of a roller-coaster to say the least!  The Host and the ISP should "hold back" what the actual link is and only show the standard first-page link.   I'll check over the weeken and try to track down the problem.

Thank you for your kind words on what we are producing.  HAppy to hear any feedback.

Hmm - i've just been through the site and checked each link, where it points to and the URL behind it.  All seem ok.  Could you give me a link specific to your problem?

I do know that earlier this week I was updating the site, so you may have experienced just that error as I was sending over the files in sections (because the ISP keeps hanging if I send too much at once) which would have caused broken links or links that after clicking reach a blank / unrecognised page.  Happened to me as I was performing the upload.

Check again and see what you think - still getting the error, send me the page link and i'll look harder.

Update on website - problems have been resolved from this morning.  Won't bore you with the details, but hopefully (unless you look when i'm updating) there won't be any more problems.

Thank you for your patience and for helping me resolve the issue.

Consider yourself in for a discount Mr Dreadful for bringing it up!

Just had a look at the site and all seems to be working now.

A discount you say? Next time I'm in the market for a new toy (which will probably be quite soon) I'll have to take you up on that.
