Mobile LRP Catering
I am pleased to announce the creation of a mobile catering service designed to meet the needs of the LRP event organiser, providing a service that concentrates on cheap, plentiful and nutritious food while enhancing the game experience for the player.
I achieve this with a level of understanding and added value service that is unheard of in the regular mobile catering trade.
I offer:
· Low intrusiveness, with a minimum of modern equipment on show.
· Covered dining areas suitable for incorporation into the game, including seating and tables.
· Adaptive camouflage – the dining area can be dressed to integrate with the milieu of the event. Menus and signage will blend in as required.
· Lighting will be muted and appropriate (except where required by health and safety).
· The café is fully mobile and does not require mains electricity or water connections. A generator will be used only to recharge batteries in the mornings.
· I am an experienced larper, ready and able to adopt suitable characters and serve customers without interrupting immersion.
· Players can be encouraged to use their own Cups, Crocks and Cutlery (CCC) to avoid the use of disposables.
· A washing up service will be provided for CCC used at the café, on request.
· Suitable in-character CCC will be provided for hire, subject to demand.
· A pre-paid voucher booklet can be provided to facilitate meal deals, applicable to any item on the menu.
· Midlands based, happy to travel North, South, East or West for suitable events.

I am Simon Oliver. I have 20 years of LRP experience and 15 years of event experience.
Please note that liqueurs will NOT be available. Alcohol licenses are far too complicated to acquire.
Mindlib catering sources all food locally and organically, wherever possible, and offsets all carbon emissions. Vegetarian options are always available.

Any idea on cost per head? Do you also do sites with kitchens and if so does that make a difference to cost per head?

Hi
Cost per head per meal is in the vicinity of £2-4 depending on the size of the meal, but can go higher for multi-course banquets and such. I worked out a meal deal for a full weekend - 6 meals including one substantial one - at around £25 per head.
I can cater using a kitchen rather than my trailer and it may work out cheaper that way - plus the menu is larger as I would have an oven. I can price up specific requirements for you if you PM me or contact me via the website, just put up.
