Anyone a fan? I find it frustrating that GW has let this classic be out of print for so long. I know it's 'cos the game is self-contained & thus doesn't need you to continuously buy new armies & troops, so not being as profitable for them as other stuff, but still...
Anyway, if anyone's a former fan of the game but doesn't enjoy playing it any more, please consider selling me any bits of it you might still have. Most of my genestealers' arms have fallen off forever, and my Campaigns Book is nowhere to be found.
Anyone come up with any variants? I've tried a 3-player version that some mates and I came up with -- a bunch of Chaos Space Marine models from the Space Crusade game as the 3rd force, and rules for said 3rd force based on standard space marines rather than the usual Terminators (6 AP rather than 4, less armour, etc.). Also came up with rules for Scouts, based on the Tyranid Attack scounts (8 AP, crappy weapons, almost no armour, etc.).

| It's all about Imperial Guard. 8AP (like yer scouts) total Alien/Aliens fun all round. I was at one point writing a game which was a cross between 40K and Space Hulk. It could be played 1 player or teams and all sorts. Re: Space Hulk parts, I'll have a nose around in the attic for you.

| Well, I believe technically it's been re-issued although without any of the kewl stuff. I don't suppose some sort of yahoo groups with a scanning of the Space Hulk, Deathwing, Genestealer and Campaigns booklet is around is it? Ian Sturrock (6/12/2006) Anyone a fan? | Was that the kind of GW Aliens clone? I played a few odd variants such as Shadowrun and Fantasy versions that people came up with. However, of all the Aliens-style boardgames it was probably the best, certainly the most playable. T.

| I always found it was the one minute thirty timed turn for the good guys that ramped up the tension! ANDY

| Rather like putting a egg-timer rule on Robo Rally, then? T.
