That game is going to rock, no doubt. Gothic Space Opera at its best. The world is so huge you can do practically anything. Hoooo it's gonna be good.

So their continuing with the 'Inquisitor' model, supperb! I've been trying to convert Inquisitor over to an RPG for a while without much success and I've finally decided that though it works well as a narrative wargame, the rules don't flow towards a RPG. Its a pitty about the long wait but I'm probably not the only one hoping for a sneak peek at Games Day

Makes sense the warhammer fantasy game is the bare minimum and meant to sell loads of source books.  So why shouldnt they do another book for 40k, just hope it will be playable on it's own.

Feh, why wait?

The fan adaption has been out for a few years now, and can be read from here:

I've palyed it and enjoyed it, and am thinking about running an Imperial Guard campaign.

My favourite writing partner, T. S. Luikart, has done a ton of work on this one, so I think it will most likely be extraordinarily awesome.

see at the mo im pondering the potential of running a game of inquisitor with out models where the players comprise one member of a rogue traders group. i have a few ideas and have put some restrictions in like no inquisitors, space marines or arco flagellants (if only because they dont have much scope for roleplay or development) as the first 2 are a little over powered. i still have a few things i need to work out but by and large i think it could work.
