| already told you, if enough people make some kind of effort to convince me, I'll do it. As it stands, I can't afford to loose another £500 on a lost site booking when 9 players book for an event. naturally, I wouldn't be booking such an expensive site for any potential future event! I know 4-5 other people who harass me about it, that makes 6 of you. . . get me 20 more, and you can come hit things while looking like an oversized smurf!

Don't forget, you booked Event 2 for the weekend after the Gathering/Renewal/Infest/Reading/Leeds when a lot of people said they were busy elsewhere -- I remember I couldn't go because I was at a friend's wedding, for example. IK had some flaws, for sure, but I still had fun as my Trollkin in Haycroft's. I don't know whether you might be better to start again if you were going to run another event, and thus get round the Haycroft's issue (we thought there would be about 100 players at the event, hence being such a big group) by treating that as a playtest.

| yup, in the event the weekend was a bad one, I did ask the player base a few times before booking it, and it was one of the only actual free weekends available, so I didn't actually clash with anything, just recovery time, doh! with respect to Haycrofts, I personally thought they were a great group, although in hindsight, yes, they were too big for a 50 player event. 100 players would have been nice, but we assumed 50 anyway. we had plans affot to change their numbers I have pondered several times running again, but I'm obviously wary after the last attempt. I'm keeping an eye out, if I can feel confident of enough interest, i can review the rules and re-launch. I'm happy to take the events that occured and still run with them, as they had a few interesting possibilities.

| I'd certainly be up for more fun. And I'm pretty sure I can convince a couple of others (OK MattJ will still want to be a goblin pretending to be a steam powered robot thing...) But I am certainly still interested... Lt Absimilliard T. Crofter (B@stard)

| Nat would probably turn up (the field medic from Haycroft's) and I likely would as well, depending on timing. Worth a punt, at least. Set a date for early or late next season (like sometime in April or the second or third weekend of September), give it at least 9 months' notice, pay the deposit on a site (Fox Covert in Leicestershire only needs £50) and that gives you time to recruit or make a call that you can't run it.

| IF it was to happen it would most definately be late season, I have a new addition due in early season! nice to see some interest beyond the select few who ususally pester me anyway. I have some ideas (some of which Eos conveniently used so i know they work!) i'll have a ponder about it. Might need some help too as the peeps who helped run the last one want to play now.

Congrats, dude!

We've had a huge surge in interest in Warmachine round these parts (basically cos the GW wargamers went off and formed their own society, so we've been pushing alternatives). If you do it, shove a flyer PDF online and I'll make sure they get frothed at relentlessly until they give in and come along
(Now I think of it, this might be a handy way of drawing the wargamer side of the society into LRPing...)
Might need some help too as the peeps who helped run the last one want to play now.
I'd offer but my job eats all the time I have...
