As a side note the date format as it includes the writen not numerical month is an acceptable (but rare (read old fashioned)) format in the UK

I can honestly say right now, that I have several (hundred that is) more pressing issues right now, than the format the date is displayed in. These include:
1) Making sure Rule7 remains free.
and
2) Making sure Rule7 gets to exist beyond its first birthday.
I could fix it given sufficient time, but it doesnt at all affect the operation of the site for discussion, and I beleive it makes no ones life difficult, so im going to channel my time into points 1 & 2, and the rest of the list they come from.
If anyone else wants to be pedantic about date formats, they may only do so if they are prepared to put their own time or money on the line to do something other than complain about it. In fact, if we just charged a small administration fee everytime we had a complaint from someone with enough time to complain but no time to help, we'd be laughing.
This goes for any other comments along the lines of "I dont like how it looks", Rule7 is free, I work damned hard to keep it free, in fact to keep it here at all.

PS: I'm giving fair warning, anyone dreaming up what they percieve to be a clever or witty reply to this (Especially grammar/spelling errors!), be warned, this is NOT the time to poke the admin.
Rule7: I just work here. EOS: I just work there too.
