| Dear All, The team that brought you 8 years of Oblivion lrp are proud to announce the first event of their new system; Resistance lrp - A new system for those who wish to face their fear. When everything is stripped away, what is left behind? What will your character have in their heart; fear, rage, terror, honour, hate, despair or hope...You decide; as you play in this dark, gritty, adult system. How you break free is up to you - by honour, by glory, by death or deceit. To live is to succeed, who cares how you do it as long as you do. Set in a city where terror and corruption rule, will you have what it takes to survive and if so, will you will bend to a master or forge your own destiny? Be first to walk the new path that is: Resistance lrp Details: Dates - 23-25th March 2007. Location - Fort Widley, Portsmouth. Cost - £60 to play (To crew is free). Maximum - 40 Players. Indoor heated accommodation on wooden floors is available - as is camping if you wish. Ususal tea/coffee, microwave, toilet facilities are all available. | Sorry about clashing, we booked the site back in August but then promptly forgot to tell anyone about our event! Real life got in the way for most of us. Excuses over, the 2nd event will be 25-27th of May, which we know will again clash with other events - sorry. We do still have spaces at the first event, if anyone is interested. Players only though as we are full crew wise. Many thanks, Chris.

| Well hopefully, it's about role-playing and having fun, in a challenging environment. It should be role-playing from the ground up. You start with nothing, not even your self-esteem and then build your character during the event, dependant on what actions you take or happen to you. It differs from the background way of doing things, obviously. Whether people work together or go individually we don't mind nor do we have an opinion on what is traditionally seen as good or evil. The challenge is to see what or who you create from the environment around you and your interaction.

| Arrival Timings for Friday 23rd March; Players no earlier than 3 please. As you don't need to pitch tents this should be fine. Crew from around 2.30 should be fine (You outnumber the players at this event, so that should be fun!). Time In will be at 9pm. If you arriving late then please let us know. I will write a review of event one if i ever get my head around exactly what happened...lol. Suffice to say this is a brilliant system for those who love to roleplay. If your looking for a monster hack this isn't it. Death is far too near all the time and the DT make you suffer the consequences of your actions, (No flanging here! ). Having been involved with Oblivion off and on over the years I was very glad to find that this was something completely new. I had a fantastic time and will definately be back for more in May. Can't wait to see you all there.. and if you give it a go I'm the one who doesn't scream. (I still run away very quickly i just don't scream)
