Just saw this on the news today. A potential site which has now closed:

Now that's a pity. I didn't know it was there!

| I've seen this place a couple of times when travelling to a friends house near matlock. It wasn't that great by all accounts It was right next to the the A52, you could see it from the road. It was also right next door to Derby County Cricket ground. By the looks of it (incidentally, the link didn't work) I've had a look around now that I know what the place is called and it only opened in August 2006 so it didn't have a very long life. Derby Council does it again with ill conceived tourist attractions. Mind you, on the Beeb website, they are saying it is just a temporary thing. So it could be opened again this year. That said however, it is a living history site and speaking from past experience with this sort of thing, if you aren't authentic, they aren't interested. But I have been known to be wrong once or twice, so YMMV.
