coffmeister (6/12/2006) Woohoo for melee combat and an axe! I finally got someone and made it to level 2! I think you get more Xp for attacking people of higher level than you as well.
You do get more xp for someone higher level, but I think it has to be quite a few levels higher, I killed a level 7 and didn't get any more, I think you're looking at 10+.
BTW, Anyone playing Norling, they seem to be sitting in our muster point, poss waiting for an invite.

You get more XP for hitting people in a higher tier (tiers are every 10 levels and give you access to different skills).

I busied myself hacking away at a level 10 with axe and chain and he had 5 points of armour so I only got 1XP for the 1 pt that always gets through. This meant that I decided that "Paladin" or not, he wasn't worth my time so I moved on.

Yeah, I check paladins first, and if they have divine armour, then I don't bother attacking them. Same as if a mortal is wearing military encounter armour, or something, I tend to move on to other targets.
