| Thanks Uncle Joe, do you have the postal address? google can't find a site with that description. :-) Also, could someone write an event report for the Event Reports section? I would, but "sat by the fire, eating, drinking and saying "I told you so", whilst making a profit." doesn't make gripping reading. Thanks everyone for a lovely event, I'll see you all at the next one. :-)

One of the Rasputin lads is writing his review as we speak.
From my POV this was our best event. Crew were happy, players were happy and management and writers were happy.
I had great fun reffing some scenes, a great time being boring Innar the Kopinari accountant, and best of all met some great new crew, as well as interacting with players I hadn't previously because the parts I'd played didn't meet their characters.
Apart from the wasp incident & HM Government refusing the beer licence because of a postal strike, nothing went wrong. In other words, everything under our control worked almost as well as we had hoped. Minor gripes aside, it was a fantastic weekend.
Thanks to the players who wholeheartedly grasped at story lines, and to the crew, some new ones I felt enlivened whole periods of the event.
I don't want to single anyone out really as everyone was tremendous fun to play off both 'on stage', and behind scenes, but reffing the Doktor's vanishing and re-appearances, spewing blood and screaming fit to wake the dead, then leaping into Mianas' arms, and seeing Pan corpse, unable to believe how evil we'd been, and falling out of character to wet himself laughing was just brilliant!
Thanks again all, and hope to see you in October.
Barry
