I don't really have a use for it at the moment, but today I stumbled across http://fantastic.library.cornell.edu/.

It's a collection of drawings of the Fantastic or supernatual taken from manuscripts in the Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections from the library of Cornell University.

The manuscripts date from early medieval through to the 20th century.

If you need drawings of anything that's weird or wonderful for a physrep, then there should be something here that suits.

In a similar vein, a blog that posts cool illustrations from old books. Not so much of the totally weird and wonderful, but I think it may have a slightly wider appeal.
