| I own the first edition version. It does have some very useful and interesting ideas on how to build monsters for LARP, along with a couple of scenarios at the back, which probably justfiy the cost if you can get it cheap. The section on running the game also includes some useful advice. I've not seen the other others firsthand. I hear the second edition is very close to the first with some minor rule improvements. No idea what the supplements they did for it are like. The third edition is more significant. it streamlines the insanity system, with some fairly original ideas (coloured ribbons, which work a bit like coloured bead draws from what I gather). I also gather some of the versions when it was first launched included a CD with supporting material (eg. a program for printing off FBI ID badges) It includes a theatre-style system. Large combats end up working sort of like a giant miniatures game, through it does run a lot quicker than the MET, WEG and rule to live by theatre-style systems. It does encourage quasi-hard skills (if you make it look convincing your character performs better). The list of monsters in there, with advice of costuming each one, is also quite good. So, yes I recommend it as worth getting. I've been tempted to get the new edition myself. Through I wouldn't use the rule system in there personally.

Yep, sorry for the .com/.co.uk mix-up.
Hope you get the registering sorted out soon. No worries. I've actually had a bit of time to look at the website and my congratulations to whoever runs it, it's clear, well laid out and very, very funny. Now all I need to do is work out how much a set of cricket whites will cost me. ;-)
There is only overconfidence and terror.
