As I say in the description, this thread is not intended as a discussion of the relative merits of allowing children or dogs at LRP events. Those discussions can happen elsewhere. On this thread I'd like to simply gather together information of which systems allow children, and which systems allow dogs.

For starters;

Blood Red Roses - dogs and children both allowed, with a responsible adult.

Waypoint - dogs and children allowed by arrangement (ie tell us in advance), with a responsible adult.

Children - Completely allowed with a designated adult being there guardian, they have there own guild (Squires guild) have there own day events and adventures!

Dogs - I have seen animals brought to events before, although if the dog is well looked after and kept out of fighting scenarios it should be no problem, but prior consent will be needed first (I.E prior arrangement and so on).

Shards. Quite a few players and crew bring their dogs and/or children. There is sometimes an option for children to get a linear run for them. (as yet, no-one has tried to run a linear for the dogs)

*snigger*

A linear for dogs! What a fantastic idea! It would be total and unmitigated chaos, but funny.

The brief: You must find the pieces of the lost biscuit of Zlarg and eat them all but the pieces are guarded by a postman, a cat, a squirrel and another group of dogs...
