My fellow Citizens.
The city is battered and bloody from earthquake, plague and most recently civil war, the pollution includes funeral pyre smoke and the fires still burn. Born in blood shed from corporate, rebel and WorldGov soldiers, the New Roman senate arises.
Megacorporations jockey for supremacy, gangs fight for territory and the Matrix tries to repair itself - New Rome must rebuild. Some accept the challenge; some cling to what is left and others yet use the smoke and fallout to settle a few scores.
Pandemonium at the Nightmare Asylum was the primo night. If you needed someone for that special job, to cut a sweet deal or just to be seen, Pandemonium had it all. Then WorldGov took out the Asylum from orbit. It was the only way to be sure.
Nature abhors a vacuum, they say. There’s a new place in town, the Neon Eclipse and the young bloods, players, movers and shakers are coming home to roost along with the deviants, freaks and street scum that made Pandemonium magic.
You can work that no-hope job with the other losers. Or take a chance and make a play for infamy, fortune and primetime ratings. You might live – or die and leave a pretty corpse. Come to the Neon Eclipse and play your part in the Roman games.
Yes folks, Sinergy, the long running Leicester based Cyberpunk game starts it’s new season on Sunday November 5th at 5pm – 9pm.

Direct train links are available from Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough and Birmingham. Coaches are also run to Leicester on a regular basis, and the site is only a 10-15 minute walk away from both the train and coach stations. If you want to check times, etc try

This first session is for new characters and players, to get used to the system, see what we’ve got and kick some serious ass before the ‘old timers’ come in on the December session ; )
Now if you have played Sinergy before, and have a character from those days you are welcome to attend November to crew, say ‘Hi’ and have a chat to the refs about bringing your pride and joy back to the game. Or possibly create a new one for the session. A lot has changed, so each character is brought back on a case by case basis. "

Well the long awaited adjusted rules set and game world have been done after a hell of a lot of work by the ref team, including some very cool new rules for hacking and netrunning (yep our own system, not just nicked from CP2020, not a dice in sight.)
The session has been slightly shortened to make things a bit more friendly for those who travel as well as to allow more time for post game froth and ref consultation.
As mentioned the first session will be an opportunity for new players to start on a level playing field and experience everything the game has to offer, pit fights, hacking, dealing, the odd umm…altercation and all the inevitable interaction you can expect from a cyberpunk game in a club full of scum and villainy.
If you already have a character please come anyway, you can create a new character, be it for that session only to have as a backup for future use or wipe the slate clean and start afresh in the new Nova Roma. Or you can help contribute to giving the new guys a great time (not to mention mess with their heads) by crewing.
If you came to a previous session and already have a character, but never did a downtime for them or only did one or two then chat with the refs and they may be able to let them in for this first session, however, as I’m not a ref I can’t make any unfair guarantees.
There are limitless opportunities for characters and organisations: hackers, cyborgs, fixers, criminals corps, bounty hunters, cops, entrepreneurs, religious fanatics, gangers, couriers, solos, mutants and more, hell it’s a club even the DJs are in character if you fancy doing a set, we’ve even had the odd bit of live music.
A lot of work has gone into giving the game a shot and performing a fair and equitable soft reset to the game world and there’s a lot of cool stuff that’s been done by a great ref team. We have an awesome venue in the Leister Square, with a bar, DJ booth, dance floor and everything you would expect from a club, and all of it IC, even the barman.
Yes indeed I am frothing, this is the first larp that I ever did and I friggin’ love it, the potential for play and creativity is huge not to mention the quality of the plot and players that I have encountered.There always seems to be people asking if there are any cyberpunk games out there, well here it is. Combat, wheeling, dealing, fixing, soloing, netrunning, the whole damnned shooting match, it's here, no excuses. If you can't come to the first session because of bonfire night, then the next will be on the 3rd of December. Put it in you calanders, the first sunday of every month (barring january for obvious reasons.)

Ladies and gentlemen. This is an appeal on behalf of the Black Sun Biomod Rehabilitation fund.
Year after year, countless Biomods and Experimental super soldiers are abandened by the corporation or Government that they called home. Biomods like Gripper, a man with hands of steel, literally, loved while new, but when the novelty wore off and more up to date modifications were created, Gripper was thrown out, abandoned in a dumster and left to fend for himself.
Unwanted and unloved, these bio-mods are forced to turn to crime, prostitution or worse, turning Solo to make ends meet. Many end up dead in alleys. A few have their own reality TV series on channel 77, but most end up in the gutter.
That's where we come in.
At the Black Sun Biomod Rehabilitation Centre we can give these poor biomods a chance. At our rehabilitation centre, we can retrain them, find them a place back in society, give them hope, pride, a future.
Remember, we never put a healthy biomod down.
Please, give generously. To create a new future for the weapons of the past.
