| I'd say great article. You really need to be in control of everything with press anywhere near you. From choosing who speaks to the press and who doesn't. Even go as far as preping them for it. IF anything appeal to the press if they are going for an angle. For example a few years ago the press were looking for youth and how to "give them soemthing to do". It's simple and works well. The other thing to remember is this, while having publicity may not get you "bums on seats" it does open a lot of doors that were previously closed. Thanks to chris's stint in the Guardian I managed to open up a fort that was previously closed to LRP. Thanks to the ITV comedy routine a lot of people in my work place are thinking about coming down to see what it's all about. It's all how you use it and how it's put in the press.
