I liked the way it introduced the relationship and standing between the sheriff and the local nobles. I don;t remember any other's doing that as well (Though the Patrick Bergin one may have, all I can remember is I loved the way it highlighted the norman vs Anglo Saxon element!).

The Patrick Bergin one did as I remember - it made something of the fact he was a rare thing, a Saxon noble who had kept his position.

Ah well, looks like you'll all hate "300" the new Themopalye film as it is unlikley to be hsitoricaly accurate as it is based on a graphic novel adaptation!

The difference is in what it is claiming to be. Robin Hood claimed to be 1192 then blatantly wasnt. If it had claimed to be 'Merrie Engalonde' then it wouldnt have mattered so much.

They should of spent the 8million making a new series of Blakes 7.

They could make a lot more than one series of Blakes seven with that budget... at least 16...

especially as you'll get a cut of the advertising revenue apparently...

Am I the only person slightly worried about google taking over the world? They do it with a friendly face, but if we don't stop the madness now it'll be too late...
