It cost £8M apparently, so you would've thought so.

It was... okay... not as bad as I'd expected but not as good as I'd hoped. I'm going to watch the next couple of episodes just to see if it improves (you never know!).

I saw five minutes. It was shit.

Should have given me the 8 million. I'd have given them a better series.

They should of spent the 8million making a new series of Blakes 7.

TBF if you are supplying all those involved with enough Crtack to make them think they had a good show, that's going to seriously cut into the budget...

I saw five minutes.

I wouldnt have lasted more than that if I hadnt had dinner, playing with the dog, and a bottle of wine to distract me.

I saw five minutes. It was shit.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just loved that posing scene between Robin and the irrelevent annoyed father character. It had me rolling on the floor with laughter. "it's true, people in LRP really used to do that!". And the hammy Sheriff, "I am sooo eeeeevil I crush small birds, my only characterisation is that I am eeevil.".

As a work of satire for our entire hobby it was fantastic. I really felt I was at a bad LRP event when watching it. I'm just concerned it's too small a subculture to base a parody around. I fear it may not command the same audiences that the Office achieved despite being *much* funnier. I actually had to explain to my non-lrping partner why it was funny...

History is an important source for LRP. Along with other works of fiction.

Hate to be negative about this sort of thing, but it was dire without being entertaining... I can't believe that this kind of rubbish gets created by the BBC. It was bad enough when Dr Who picked up the Olympic Torch to save the world... What a load of license-fee-wasting tosh. I hope the Americans have sufficiently bad taste to give us our £8m back.

Dr Who is the name of the show - the character is called "the Doctor".

Sorry, geek-instincts, can't help myself.
