Alot of people slag off hellfire, saying it's crap. I would have to disagree, yeah it's not fantastic, but people able to chuck out a 15 dam unholy claw attack 4 times before you run out of mp is pretty decent in my mind My serious pariah isn't gonna bother with EM, but my other one who is going for Behemoth is gonna get it, and see just how ofton he can blow himself up. Well, it seems like the way forwards to me. 6 pts of Ag. oops! Unholy Damage with Blood Claws won't cut it against Divine Armour. Whereas 11 points of axe will leave a crimp in anyone's day.
There is only overconfidence and terror.

| My Myrmidon/melee character is catching my CLA-Pariah/hth character really quick. That is in part due him being in OS (+3 dam!) but mainly because all the tier2 skills are combat useful - especially being able to see hidden characters. My Sorceror/Alchemist/gun bunny is torturously slow as I have no decent spell yet. I'm repairing for XP atm. My pariah can dish it out when he finds an xp-able target as Weaken and Hellfire on a 60% attack is a good opener to a fight but self healing is pointless and an extra 4% chance to damage mundane armour is laughable for 40CP. I've slowed down to about 1 kill per 100 AP. Can we base our stronghold in Stygia?

I agree on the damaging of mundane armour, although mine takes quite the beating. As for Stygia, we need an "inside": NexusWiki
Strongholds may only be created in specific locations. The list of "valid" locations is too large to list here; however, the following types of locations are not valid: - Any location that does not have an "inside;"
- Any location that is "large" - that is, any building whose interior is more than 1 grid square in size;
- Any resource building, including: Malls, Police Stations, Hospitals, Fire Stations, Airports, Churches, Parliament, Power Plants, Zoos, Prisons, Military Bases, Museums, Stadiums, Gun Stores, Libraries, Iron Fortresses, Sewers, Hardware Stores, and Ivory Towers.

Upton (Defiler) is mainly gaining XP from repairing stuff from the safe at the moment, his combat options have declined massively at tier 2.
My Pariah alt in OS is doing massively well. Blood Taste and Lesser Regen are incredibly useful. Blood Taste alone has kept me at full hps when involved in fights with people (They hit me, I hit them and heal, fight ends them dead, me undamaged). I can see this being exploited perhaps by two Pariah's with blood taste having a fight club style neverending fratch for constant exp gain (If they're both doing similar damage). Blood Taste is also extremely useful when you log in to discover someone has had a pop and not quite finished you off. Just slash the heck out of a few low levels a couple of times, and you're good as new. No exp, but healing is *easy*

For anyone unaware, we got trashed by MFD. I'm heading back to our smouldering HQ to survey the damage.

Red Branch used to be a LRP group, still may be for all I know. I know them from the first Omega where they played a bunch of murderous cannibals, they were massacred on the 2nd day after everyone banded together to off them. That was my very first angry mob that was *sigh* happy days
A voice was heard to say, “Who dares disturb the crypt of the Immortal Space Bitches?”
“I am Grimm Shado,” said Grimm Shado, triple wand claws extending. “And I am here to take it to the limit.”
