Mikey, giz a shout if you want a lift to any LRP event south of Birmingham that I might be off to -- I drive right past Shrewsbury to get there, so could probably give you a lift (I go via Oswestry, Shrewsbury, & Telford for anything down south).

I'm definitely up for forming parties or groups to go to other games, but I'm not sure I can be arsed to run linears I fear.  Monthly combat practices in Wrexham'd be good though -- dare I suggest Moss Valley Park? It has loads of great, reasonably isolated places for combat practice (I have run linears in it before) and it's a 2 minute walk from my house for purposes of post-practice brews.
In terms of driving to other games, my plan for next year is to run one Hyborian Tales game, play all 4 Maelstroms, play Outlore and as many other Dumnonni events as I can get to (hopefully 3-4), and maybe crew 1 or 2 other games. That should take me to about one event a month, which is about all I want.
