Not "Jane Austen's Anything." I though Aliens and Alienation was agreed on.

Predators and Predation? Sense and Sensiblity, Pride and Prejudice... Honour and Horror?

All terms used above, including crew, monster, team, ref, referee, game, win, lose, larp, lrp, player, character, death, good, bad, rubbish, awesome and odorous are used subjectively. That is to say I have no idea what I'm on about.

I was thinking the first event might be "Aliens & Alienation" (aliens referring to xenomorphs, alienation referring to the military struggling to find a place in society after the destruction of Napoleon).

The second might tentatively be titled something like "Proposals and Predators"? I'm also toying with ideas for "Marriage & Martians", "R'lyeh & Revolutionaries", "Stargazing & Stargates", "Fairs & Faeries" (Stardust cross-over?), "Zeppelins & Xenomorphs", "Masquerades & Massacres", "Valentines & Vampires, or: Romance & Necromancy", "Daleks & Dalliances", "Orks & Orchestras"... Actually, that's getting silly.

I do like "Honour & Horror" tho. That could maybe be the general title of the series...

Whatever it's called it'd be cool.

So Amhurst is that a good site?

How many Aliens do you/we need?

Lets all pretend we're organising this and see what happens.

I still think "Chestburster Abbey" is a definite candidate for a future event title.

Amhurst, I think, would work better for the ideas I'm playing with for a later game. I need a place with a hall for this first one.

As I said, maybe Willesley. Hmm, or Barnswood. Any other scout camp suggestions? I need a hall with attached woodland. Two halls is better, but one is enough.

When you say hall do you mean grand stately home type hall or just a large(ish) indoor space?

Just a largeish indoor space. Village hall/scout hut type thing, not a stately home! Although that'd be nice, for under £200 a weekend!

Well as I understand it (I might be wrong without double checking) Amhurst has indoor bits, all vaulted ceiling like etc. and woodland.
