| The New World Pioneer is currently on the lookout for new members of staff. Due to an unfortunate incident on the Sunday night, we require an accountant. Duties will involve counting money (aloud) and if you like scowling and mumbling, all the better. The role will also involve manning the news desk in part, though fear not, you won't get trapped there, as everyone mucks in on the desk. And you do get to sit down. We're also after two dedicated journalists, on a flat rate plus commission basis. New characters and moonlighting existing characters equally welcome, and by no means feel discouraged if you fancied freelancing instead. APPROXIMATE SIZE: We are approximately a group of 7 at the moment and that I know of, so very small, but very friendly.
CONCEPT BLURB: Hello all thought I would put something up here and see if we get any nibbles. The new world Schaffhausen is a friendly bunch of about seven people we are mainly avian although we would always welcome human and mokosh characters if that is what you would wish. We are a small trying to create a little piece of heaven of our own with great prospects of expanding and a fabulous roleplay experience.

CONCEPT BLURB:
We are looking for players old and new to join the New Bantustan colony at Maelstrom. The colony is made up mainly from gnollish characters but humans (and other races with a decent reason, e.g. soldiers, ex-slaves, slaves etc) are a welcome addition to the colony. We are close knit colony but there are separate tribes to join or you may even want to start a tribe/group of your own.
We are firm believers in having fun at events and we do all we can to make sure the players in the colony enjoy themselves. We are very active in the game and have recently been attracting lots of new members and growing in size. If you have met us IC, you might think we or a bit gruff but when OOC, every single one of the colony are lovely fun loving people who are glad to meet new people. Also, We are very willing to help you get started with kit advice and background.

Blurb:
Basically, we deliver the mail. It doesn't sound very exciting, but it's a fantastic opportunity to meet people (from sitting at the desk and trying to shame people into sending a letter to their family back in the Old World to hunting down people to hand letters over to them), and you'll get all the assorted sweets you could possibly want. We just about managed to handle the business with four official employees and a few hangers-on at the last event, and we're looking for a few more people to help us move the mail around, taking money and selling Giacomo Tennant's famous Hot Flembic Dickings.
As we're part of a trade house, we don't really mind what race, culture or religion you're from. All we need are a few willing folks who can put up with us (we're nice as pie out of character, and unstoppable talkative traders in character) and generally help us out in the promotion and running of the office. You might even get paid!

Blurb:We are a growing group of Most Enlightened Kamakurans making a new start in the New World.
Positions available: aite (human companions): NEW POSITION: personal aite to a swordsmith/ trader. Suggested devotion The Merchant aka Lord Hare. Must read/write, enjoy accountancy.
Healers, builders, explorers, foot soldiers...pretty much anything you like as long as there are no bladed weapons except for those on the ends of long poles.
At the moment the group has about 7 Bushi with a few affiliates and just one very tired aite. Be willing to do washing up, cooking, generally running around after Bushi whilst quietly pursuing your own goals. All for the good of the clan, of course.
Strong following of Lord Sun (Teacher) and Lady Moon (Huntress) but other three gods' devotees welcome.
Mokosh: NEW POSITION: Clan Historian. Keeping track of deeds, handling maps; any females welcome, warrior or administator, Shugi (priest - except Lady Moon) or mahotsukai (magic user).
Males: we need a general and a reliable, responsible walking organiser for the Daimyo.
We can promise very good levels of roleplay and kit and expect the same. Questions answered, advice available (it helps if you've seen Shogun and Zatoichi, for a start).
