bedlum (9/15/2006)
any groups out there influenced by romans but more so greek hoplites?

As such - no.
None of the main Old World nations nor the New World nations are analagous to the classical civilisations. Essentially, the rough period analogue is wrong. This is colonization of the new world era, Romans/Greeks long, long since past their prime and fashion about a thousand years out of date.

The closest the game has would be the old Renian Empire, but that was thousands of years ago in game. Only people who would have been around then are the Eidolons and they're notorious for dodgy memories.

At a pinch, you could just about get away with a bunch of Golems that originated from very old statues in Renian attire.

Group name: The Knights of Liberation
Culture/affiliation: Awakened/Fallen Eidolon
OOC contact name and email: Theresa Austin, theresaverity -at- gmail -dot- com
Approximate size: Smaller than we'd like...join up now!
Concept: IC: We, the eidolons who have fallen from grace, were long ago consigned to an eternity apart from the world that we served. But now, we have returned to our rightful place in the world - and we stand defiant against the will of those who would see us destroyed. Some returned seeking peace with the world they'd left behind, others seeking to wage a war of vengeance. All of us, however, are painfully aware of the one simple truth governing all our actions: If we are to survive, we must stand firm, and fight as brothers once more.
Concept: OC: If you're interested in playing in what is quite possibly the most difficult (and potentially, most rewarding) game in the system, then we may just be what you're looking for. Any and all are perfectly welcome - we play nasty soul-stealing monsters, but we're nice, friendly and -hopefully- approachable people OOC! Huge amounts of conflict guaranteed!

Maelstrom: Aestar, now with 50% MORE emo or your money back
