| In the village where this takes place (Brockworth) Young Men aren't allowed to court Young Ladies unless they've taken part in the annual "Drink 20L of White Lightning and chase a Cheese down a cliff" festival, or at least that's how it felt when I was Youth Worker there.

Survival of those who are athletic and have very, very strong livers. I suppose poetry just doesn't cut it any more.
There is only overconfidence and terror.
