| So, I was having another quick read through the rules, and just wanted to clarify something. A priest can pass through the Gates of Horn to the chamber of the great game, or to see the gods (if summoned) If the priest does not have the skill to open the Gates of horn, can they still go through to these places, if they find a friendly priest to open the gate? I'm assuming this must be the case, but wanted to check, as it seems a priest without this skill could risk serious insult to the gods by not turning up/being late... Edited to add: It also seems that priests without Ceremony have no way of gaining Kudos - I've probably been silly and missed something, havent I?

You are correct.
Edited to add: It also seems that priests without Ceremony have no way of gaining Kudos - I've probably been silly and missed something, havent I?

"Mortal priests can gain patronage through kudos: from sacrificing coin and quintessence; announcing a warleader who wins in the arena; completing burial rites for fallen comrades; and by fulfilling the other whims of deities directly or through others."
Sacrifice is the easiest and most 'mechanical'.

| On the lack of ceremony thing there are ways. Such as once you get to the Gods how you RP with them probably has an effect plus agreeing to do tasks and actually accomplishing them. Also there is a comment about gaining it through entering the arena before your Warleader and announcing him/her. Assuming they win you gain kudos, if they lose so do you.
