I've built a website for Irregular productions and if anyone has a bit of free time on thier hands to scan through it and give me your thoughts I will be most gratefull. Its the first time i've built a website and i used Serif Webplus x2 to build it. I know there's bound to be alot of grammar errors to be found (never paid enough attention at school when i should have )
Graphically i would like to improve it but wanted to concentrate on the content first and then tart it up at a later date. The content is written by myself and darren Stocker with help from others.
Many thanks for your time looking at the site

Ian Davis

ps. Obviously i should say if your tempted to book an event whilst ya there............

Used serif webplus x2. Once i got thro the tutorials was quite easy to use, does alot more than i've used it for. You should come, crew if you can't play. Was hoping to be down at Stockwood this weekend to crew for Golden Boy with Feet of Clay but i'm at the living History fair in Warwick. Hope it goes well and fingers crossed for good weather for you.

Some thoughts.

1. The kerning on your text columns is too small. You need to but a bit more space between them and the pictures.

2. You use too many different fonts. One appears to be crushed as the subheader (Live roleplaying events).

3. The panel method is a good idea (makes browsing on different devices easier, but you've packed stuff in with a largish font, which kinda makes a pc user think "why waste all that space?". Might be best to define your panel against the white background.

4. The paragraphing for your introductory text on the right is badly laid out. This is probably due to the formatting tags left over in that particular cell of your table.

On the whole, I think you have some good graphics and content, which most websites cry out for.

Let me know if you'd like me to proof-read the website (it could do with it...) in exchange for a small discount on one of your events.

Thanks Alan and Ian.
Will look at the spacing, see what you mean about different fonts and large fonts and thats something to go through and change, you should of seen how large the fonts were to start off with, i had all text at 16
May take you up on that offer Ian.

Thanks again for taking the time to look at it and comment.

Ian
