In Battlestar Galactica they never really had the time for more than tiny little glimpses of how the 12 colonies differed from baseline USA culture - obviously, they're drawing on classical civilization for the polytheism, but it would be nice to see a bit more of unblowed-up Caprica. The Soldiers of the One seem fairly upset about human sacrifice on the interweb - do humans get sacrificed *off* the interweb? When people go to school/work are they expected to toss a bit of incense into a brazier on the shrine of the Gods and get beaten if they don't?
Obviously, they're pushed for seconds, but I'm not terribly interested in plots - like the pseuditalian's kid having a dysfunctional relationship with his father and getting involved in his uncle's dodgy dealings - which don't really have anything to do with Caprica per se.
More Caprica in Caprica please.

I must say - I loved the original series, hated the remake of it but I do like this. Started watching it from the beginning and it's going really deeply into the timeline which brought it all about. Last episode has me on tenterhooks, I can't wait for the next one!
