| So after the first event I went out and bought some more kit, mainly due to being bloody frozen on saturday night. This did involve buying some clip in coloured hair extensions. I was wondering if anyone had any tips as to how I could stick these in more securely. Cheers

No advice on the hair but if you find your too cold again let the Brood/Orcs know we normally have loads of fur/cloth kit you can use to keep warm.

| Seems i've now actually picked up most of the tips on that post for staying warm. Mainly with it being my first event it was the initial unwillingness to spend a ton on kit when every rubber sword LRP i'd been too I hadn't been that keen on. I wasn't foolish enough to stand there and suffer in silence or to the point where I made myself ill. Being allergic to wool does suck when trying to find warm kit. There is one thing that I can't do much about at the moment with regards to that list though. I have a huge tent, I have no one to share it with

Okay for anybody interested I have been given a couple of tips for putting in those little clip in coloured streaks a little more securely.- Backcomb the section of hair you're going to put them in as this will give the clip something to grip.
- Knot or braid a small section of your hair, this'll have the same effect as above and you can always braid the colour into the hair.
- Use extra clips or pins to secure the hair
